Wedding Venues South Wales
We are often asked about local venues and which ones we prefer to photograph at. So here is a list of our favourites and some links to their sites…
Vale Hotel and Spa, Hensol Castle Park, Pontyclun
Well the Vale Hotel is incredibly luxurious. If you’re lucky you’ll be having your reception along side the Welsh rugby squad who train next door. They have a team of wedding planners to help you through some of the more difficult decisions and Hensol Castle and surrounding areas make a great backdrop for photographs.
Miskin Manor Hotel, Llantrisant, Cardiff, South Wales
Another beautiful venue. It is Grade II listed and is possibly the most beautiful wedding venue in Wales. They host weddings all year round. There really isn’t anything comparable to Miskin near Cardiff and it’s a joy to photograph there. The interiors are stunning.

Buckland Hall, Bwlch, South Wales
Surrounded by the Brecon Beacons this country mansion is a superb venue. It isn’t a hotel so you’ll have the whole venue to yourselves and the surrounding gardens are great for both formal and informal photography.

The Orangery, Margam Park, South Wales
I’ve been to Margam Park as both a guest and wedding photographer. The venue is incredible, huge arched ceilings and enormous windows give us lots of natural light to play with.
